About me

With over a decade of experience in product design, I specialise in crafting innovative products and experiences that drive business value and delight users.
I am skilled at navigating the full product lifecycle and thrive in leadership roles within agile teams, where I can guide the design vision from concept to launch. My management experience includes leading teams of designers and researchers, where I was responsible for their professional growth, quality standards, workflow management, and performance against key metrics.
I earned a Master's in Experience Design from the Samsung Art and Design Institute and a BA in Product Design from Cardiff Metropolitan University. My commitment to professional growth is further demonstrated by my regular attendance at design conferences and workshops, where I stay on top of the latest industry trends.

Product Designer | Co-Founder
Cheltenham, UK
Apr 2015 - March 2017
Straight out of university I had big ambitions and little real world experience. I thought it would be wise to learn fast and fail fast - by setting up my own company with a like minded partner. Our aim with Studio Nova was to allow start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses to realise their ideas. This has led us to work on projects spanning product, branding and graphic design as well as design research.
Education

Samsung Art and Design Institute
Mdes Experience Design - Distinction
Seoul, South Korea
2013 - 2014
I was awarded a scholarship to attend this programme run by Samsung Art and Design Institute (SADI) and Cardiff Metropolitan University from the SADI campus in Seoul, South Korea.
We were provided opportunities to interact with recent technologies and trends through industry projects with global multinational companies, such as Samsung Electronics and Google. This included a number of live projects for Samsung, a highlight was providing the audio and visual teams with testable concepts to explore for the next generation of Smart Speakers.
The programme focused on the professional and applied aspects of creativity generated in the realm of contemporary communication. For my thesis, I chose to focus on a UX and research project, looking to understand the impact that mass-customisable products and have on the e-commerce experience and how to better design for it.
